Kena: Bridge of Spirits will use Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers

After the previews being overwhelmingly positive for the Dualsense controller on the PlayStation 5, namely because of the Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers that seem to give a next-generation feeling simply from the controller.

The game Kena: Bridge of Spirits is one of the most anticipated PS5 indie games after it had a stunning showcase on the Future of Gaming showcase earlier this year. Since then news has been kind of sparse on the game, with a GameInformer cover and some tidbits here and there.

However, when Ember Lab was asked about the Dualsense functionalities by Twitter user Svenvl3, they confirmed that the game will use both the Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Trigger features of the Dualsense.

While we don’t know in what capacity the game will use these features, I’m guessing weapons will use the adaptive triggers. For example, the magic-bow having a certain intensity and the melee-based staff attacks another.

I look forward to finally playing the game, and I also look forward to seeing how the Dualsense affects the gameplay.
